Safe Is the New Risky.

Safe Is the New Risky – The Rules are changing

Now for how many more yrs we are going to assume that jobs will pay you for rest of your life.

  1. Few yrs before Satyam collapsed and overnight thousands of employees became job less overnight was that correct ?
  2. Microsoft has churned 18000 jobs , now where will these people go ?
  3. Kingfisher defaulted in payments and people lost there jobs and salaries were delayed was that correct ?
  4. We don’t have a social security system like many countries where you can just loose the job and still get basic salary.

Furthermore are people in jobs Happy ? NO.

  1. If you will achieve the target , your target will be increased every month.
  2. The BOSS is always right.
  3. Corporate Politics
  4.  is unhealthy.
  5. Your capability doesn’t matter you are only suppose to do what is asked of you and do it there way, isn’t it ?
  6. Work for more hrs with the same way, take more responsibilities with the same pay.

Now here is a calculation you all should know.

If your salary increases by 10% every year ( On an average for your entire career) and the Inflation increases by 8 to 10% , YOU ARE ANYWAYS NOT GOING TO GET RICH. U remain there where you were your previous years.

So do you have a PLAN B ? A plan B is a plan which gives you a realistic chance create wealth in a few years time to come.

As the great business consultant and visionary Jim Rohn would say : A man should work during the day to earn his living , but should work during the evening to create a FORTUNE.

If you are not born in a rich family does that mean that you and your children will have to live like this for rest of there lives. NO

For things to change we have to get better . For things to change we have to change.

9 Ways To Keep Woking While You Sleep

Hey, it’s been a few days. I had a great weekend and I hope you did too. But it really got me thinking about freeing up more time for family and friends.

You know the dream… to sit back with your feet up. You don’t have to lift a finger and your business keeps pulling in the big bucks while you “chill” on a dream beach… or whatever. At the very least, it would be nice to have a little extra spare time or a vacation or two. Wouldn’t it?

You bet it would!

Living in the dream world…

That’s the dream but few people live it. I wouldn’t say that nobody does. Because I know people who do. I have a friend who calls himself lazy, he’s far from it, but through years of hard work he’s built a lifestyle that affords him the time to be “lazy”. So it is possible.

You probably know a few success stories yourself. But they all have something in common. They aren’t afraid to use technology to make their life easier. I know, all to often it feels like technology is sucking up time instead of giving it. But when you’re in control… it’s amazing what you can do.

So Let’s get started…

Here’s 9 Ways To Actually “Work While You Sleep”:

Obvious Outsourcing – Leaders delegate. This is a tough skill to master and let’s face it… not everyone can afford this. But if you have the cash and you’re short on time then you might be amazed how cheap it can be to outsource the little details. Time is money.

Blood and Sweat – Hah. Bet you thought you could avoid this one, right? But even if you automate everything you have to be prepared to work. A solid strategy if you’re blogging or article marketing is to spend one day writing up content and post it as the days roll by. This will literally cut hours off your work week. Don’t underestimate this.

Awesome Autoresponders – If you want to get into internet marketing in a big way… or if you already are… then you have to get cozy with autoresponders and e-mail marketing.

With your autoresponder you can set e-mails to be sent out in sequence, schedule ahead of time, or broadcast immediately. All are ways to leverage your time and make more money.

Voicemail Victory – This is one under-utilized way to free up time. Get creative with your voicemail. Don’t pick up your phone every time it rings, but do answer your messages promptly. You’ll make a reputation for it.

Amazing Audio – You’ll probably brush this off, but audio recordings are a great way to build your credibility. You can use them to supplement your web content or think up a more creative use. But I don’t think most people understand the power of this. They brush it off while their next door neighbor quietly rakes in the cash.

Video Cloning – You can only build so many relationships face to face… unless you leverage the power of video. One solid strategy is to have a “welcome video” on your website. Your prospects get to know and trust you before they ever meet you in person… which in this day and age, maybe they never will.

The E-mail Demon – You don’t have time to answer your e-mail twenty four hours a day. You have work. You have family. So how do you get control of the e-mail demon? I have a few suggestions.

First, restrict your addiction. Only answer your e-mail at a few designated times a day. And make use of the automated message software most free e-mail addresses have for you. Did you know, if you’re on vacation you can set an away message? Imagine that…

Build A FAQ List – These lists of frequently asked questions get a bad rap but when you keep getting the same questions over again it really helps to have a web page you can point people to for answers.

Of course, you already know this is no substitute for hands on involvement but it will weed out the silly questions you get asked every day.

Get Cozy With Teleseminars – Seminars, Webinars, and Teleseminars. These are a great way to leverage your time and money. They barely cost anything to host. But the best part: You can record them for your blog or products. It’s like killing two birds with one stone. And it’s an easy way to build a relationship with your list.

Some people even make a full-time living doing nothing but teleseminars.

What do you think?

You’re probably using a few of these ideas already. No doubt, you have your own suggestions that are every bit as good as these ones. But I hope I sparked a thought or two. Something that could free more time for the things that matter most in life.

Let me know what you think. :-)

Thanks for reading and always…

To your success,

How To Choose Right Biz-Op Today…

With so many choices out there it gets a little overwhelming at times. So what I wanted to share today is a 19-point checklist that will help almost anybody choose the “best” opportunity for their lifestyle today.

So what is the best opportunity in today?

Drumroll please….

The one you pick and stick to! Because there’s no shortage of opportunities. No doubt you’ve seen everything from miracle juice to magic pills, but that’s only the start. No matter what you’re into there’s a good chance someone is offering it in direct sales.

In fact, I did a quick “google” yesterday and within seconds a dozen opportunities popped up. Everything from Christian business to adult entertainment. So you have options. More than you could ever research. But I’m not here to pick your choices because the best op is the one that’s best for you.

Keep in mind, there’s no shortage of garbage too.

So keep your shield up.

Before we start. I hope you’ll forgive me, because this post isn’t for everyone. But if you’re keeping your eyes open for the next big thing or want to see how your current biz measures up then here’s a few things to keep in mind.

I hope you’ll share your own insight in a comment below. There’s a world of first timers looking for all the help they can get.
So here it is…

19 Point Checklist For Choosing The Best Home Based business Opportunity For You:

Restrictions. What kind of restrictions does the company place on your marketing or selling? Some ops won’t even let you advertise at all. And you can’t blame them with the FTC cracking out new advertising laws every month.

Compensation. What’s the comp plan like? Have you shopped around enough to know if it’s worth your time? Most ops let you download their compensation plan online. This makes it easy to compare.

Products. How big is the product line? Are they focused on a single product or building a large line? In the end it’s up to you but there are perks to both.

Love. Do you love the product? This is one of the most important factors in your Home Based Business. You can be a complete “newbie” and still recruit like a maniac if you’re passionate about your product and know it works.

Ethics. This goes hand in hand with faith in your product. But I’d dig deeper. You wouldn’t want to have a rip roaring success only to find out later that your product wasn’t as “clean” as you thought it was at first kiss.

Family. Is this something your friends and family would support? They might have trouble dealing with some of the “sexier” biz ops out there. Business is tough without a a safety net.

Start-up. How much does it cost to get started? Some opportunities aren’t for poor folks. This doesn’t mean that they should be ruled out, but you have to do the math first.

Owners. Who runs the company? Do they have a history of success, honesty and integrity? Are they someone you would introduce to friends and family without a second thought? It’s worth looking into.

Online vs Offline. This is a biggie. Will you be able to build from the comfort of your own home online or is it a more hands on “go get ‘em” operation? You know yourself better than anyone else. So set yourself up for success.

Residual. What kind of residual income are we looking at? Some products have a relatively short life span and you have to be willing to accept that but you’d be amazed by some of the longterm rewards some opportunities hold.

Simplicity. Is the company structure and product line easy to understand? This might not be the first thing you look at but it’s hard to underestimate the “KISS” principle. The classic “Keep It Stupid Simple.”

Time. Let’s face it, some ops are time intensive. If you’re looking for a spare time biz then these aren’t for you. But keep looking because there’s plenty of choices out there for the less involved.

Duplication. How easy is it gonna be to duplicate yourself, train your team and help them grow like you have? Some ops aren’t very scalable. And if you’re spending all your time coaching how do you expect to recruit?

Training. A lot of Direct Sales marketing companies miss the boat in the training department. Instead you have to rely on your own experience or upline… not the company itself. This can be a huge challenge… especially if you’re new to this profession.

Debt. This is like any other business. Most new start ups will not succeed in any real way. And if you’ve just spent 6 months building your downline it would be really hard to take it if your company went under.

History. How long has your company been around? Do you know any success stories that aren’t complete bull. Do they have a stellar reputation. These are all things you should dig up.

Emotional. The rewards are emotional as well as physical. If you want to make a real difference in the lives of others then there’s companies built around those principles. Don’t worry, if you keep your eyes open you’ll find one that’s right for you.

Cash. How fast will you get paid? This is something that a lot of opportunities brush off. Because like any business, some people won’t make a dime while others rake in the greenbacks. Still, you have to look into it or face failure from the start.

And above all…

Take your time. Nobody says you have to decide overnight. Some people or even couples spend months looking for the right biz. In the end, it’s your life at stake. There’s no need to take a blind leap.

But you do have to take the first step.

Here’s to your success

What Cavemen Taught Us About Leadership

Success in a home based business or network marketing, MLM, or direct sales company is all about leadership.  And believe it or not being a “Leader” is lot simpler than we make it out to be…. in fact everything we need to know can be learn from the cavemen.

Leadership qualities began in paleolithic era approximately 50,000 years ago with the Neanderthal man.  During this time it was absolutely vital for any living being to gravitate towards leaders.  So because of that fact, our attraction to leadership is actually ingrained in our genetics

Your Business is a DOG…and going nowhere.

How many times have you heard someone talk about themselves and how great their company is, but they never really even share anything of value, they just put your company down?

So…big lesson for all of us who are involved in the profession of direct sales and out their REPRESENTING our profession. Watch how you act, how you present, and how you compare…if you choose to do so.

Let your strengths be what shows your competitor’s weaknesses, not your mouth.

Actions speak louder than words.
